Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Simulation

The apprentices participating in the TPM Simulation recently completed their first semester in the KYFame program. They are apprenticing at the following companies: Bosch, Nucor Steele, Armor, Perfetti Van Melle, L’Oreal, Crane Composites, Krauss Maffei and Safran. This one-day TPM simulation workshop demonstrates how to maximize OEE while going through the various stages of maintenance (Run to Failure, Preventive, Predictive, Autonomous, Total Productive). Much like the Lean Simulation, there are four-rounds of a simulated factory and instruction. Each round will look at the concepts of the different layers of TPM. Concepts are based on the book “Introduction to TPM” by Seiichi Nakajima.
